This time, Sherwood Forest becomes the back alleys and neighborhoods of Oakland, California. And the evil king is the institutionalized racism and oppression that drives people into drugs and crime. Driven by a selfless need to change her poverty-stricken, inner-city community, Robin Hurly (Khahtee V. Turner) is a determined social worker who strives for idealism. Robin meets Brooklyn (Clody Cates), a French thief whose handsome charm proves to be intoxicating.
The story unfolds as these two women fall in love, and both enter a world of self- discovery. As their love intensifies, Robin is drawn into Brooklyn’s ideology and begins to steal with her to fulfill her goal to bring hope and a better life to the children of Oakland. Together they face an uncertain future, as Brooklyn’s drive to steal from the rich, fuels Robin’s fire to give to the poor.
